With experience in theater, film and YouTube writing, he advocates for mindfulness and mental health awareness. His varied literary influences include King, Cormac McCarthy, and Margaret Atwood, but he fondly remembers his favorite Point Horror novels from high school.

Carietta Dorsch has loved horror movies since she was a little girl watching them at a way too earlier age and loves even more to share her love of horror with her writing. David Anderson

David E. Anderson grew up in the '70s, loving Godzilla movies and the "Night Stalker" series, developing a love for horror early on. As a teenager, he immersed himself in the books by the likes of Stephen King, F. Paul Wilson and Dean Koontz, and wanted to try his hand at what they do so well. He wrote his first novel, "The Void," in his mid-teens, followed by six more— three of which he's self-published.

I’m Cody Matthews! I originally dreamed of writing scripts for mature cartoons like The Simpsons and South Park, filled with dark humor—think murderous younger sisters or moms spiraling into failed Netflix specials. Writing books never crossed my mind until my biological mom suggested it. I had story ideas, like a magician tormenting siblings with a haunted magic kit (magicians still freak me out). Months ago, after sharing my work in a Facebook horror group, I ended up featured in a short story collection on Amazon alongside other aspiring authors.

Bill Freas

Bill Freas studied under writers Sonny Sykes and Charles McClelland and continued his education at West Chester University. In 2002, he became the head writer for a TBS-comedy pilot that was not picked up. He has sold or optioned over two scripts, including shorts, features, and pilots, and authored more than twenty published short, including three collections. Currently, Bill leads the development department at Oceanicom Films, overseeing US international film and TV projects.
